VBites: Printing Products Powered by Plants

01.28.2021

As we near the end of ‘Veganuary’, we thought now would be the perfect opportunity to showcase some of the packaging we produce for the largest plant-based food manufacturer in Europe – VBites.

For the uninitiated, Veganuary is the annual event that encourages people to eat a plant-based diet for the entire month of January. Since launching in 2014, over a million people have committed to this challenge, which gains in popularity each and every year.

2020 was a big year for veganism in the UK, and judging by the huge volumes of people pledging to participate in ‘Veganuary’ this year, 2021 is set to be bigger still.

According to reports, a record half a million people have signed up for Veganuary in 2021, double the number from 2019.

And this is all music to the ears of UK based food manufacturer VBites, who have been encouraging people to try a plant-based diet since 1993 – long before veganism became ‘trendy’!

The brainchild of campaigner Heather Mills, VBites sells over 140 vegan products to over 20 countries around the world and is at the forefront of the fastest growing food movement this decade.

VBites is on a mission to deliver a wide range of delicious and healthy meat, fish and dairy alternatives, in a sustainable, kind, and earth-friendly way.

Reflex have been supplying VBites with their packaging products for over a decade and have a very special relationship with this pioneering business.

VBites have a huge product range that grows and changes in line with consumer behaviour and feedback. In order to maintain the excellent service VBites customers are used to, Reflex have to adapt in line with this, ensuring we consistently offer flexibility of supply and quality of service.

Based across multiple sites, Reflex are able to service all packaging requirements; from film lids to printed sleeves and everything in between. Our dedicated account managers and print specialists ensure the printing process is seamless and that the packaging reflects the high quality of the products within them.

We currently supply a range of printed sleeves from our Manchester site, printed pack labels from our Barwell site, and tertiary packaging from our Market Harborough site.

Due to our multi-site operations, we’re pleased to be able to produce a variety of packaging formats for our clients which often helps support complete product ranges.
